My father, who was missing both legs above the knee, would press the remote button to open the sliding door and lower the ramp on the passenger side of the van. He would then drive his three wheeled scooter up the ramp and into the van. He would then secure the scooter to the van with the two chain binders. He then would transfer from the scooter to the electric swival seat, with the help of a transfer board. He would then electricaly swivel the seat around to the front and electrically move the seat forward, put on his seat belt and with the hand controls, he was ready to go. The driver seat also moves electrically up and down.
