Used 1986 DODGE Ram Van Wheelchair Van For Sale in new orleans LOUISIANA

I have only owned it for less than a year and now that I bought the truck I wanted, it’s time to let this van go. So here are to positives: •Good V-8 engine, real smooth ride, had no problems with it. •Transmission shifts smooth •No smoke •Has new fuel pump •Has good tires with plenty of tread •Really nice inside upholstery •Seats 7 comfortably; middle seats can come out, and back seats fold down into bed which I (being a tall guy) have had a few good nights of sleep on. •It has really cool interior lighting which does have some electrical problems I never bothered figuring out (only a couple of the light work… maybe connection or bulbs?) •Has a c-b radio which I never figured out. •Basically the inside is really decked out. •Wheelchair lift- this feature is really great There are controls by the door on the inside, there is a control on the actual lift, and there are controls above the driver. Oh and even the doors open and close with the switches. These lifts alone are worth between $1500-$3000. Here are the negatives as far as I know: •Needs U-joints replaced – I looked at the Haines guide and somebody with mechanical skills ould replace the U-joints quite easily. If you do not want to fix it yourself; it should not be more than $400 to fix it. •There is a bit of rust on the hood and a couple little spots elsewhere…not bad •Minimal oil spots if parked for a while •Since it is an older carburetor vehicle… if the engine has not been turned on for a while the idle speed rises above normal for the first 5 minutes or so, than comes back to normal. Typical symptom of older carburated vehicles. The milage: the guy I bought it from insisted it only had 45,000 miles on it, but I’m not really going to insist on the miles… it could be 48,000 or 148,000. Can not guarantee either. PRICE: It’s worth well over $2000. However, considering the few repairs, I‘ll let it go for $1400.
