We acquired this used van 1 year ago directly from an Adaptive Driving Systems, Inc. (ADS) dealer for $27,000. The purchase included an Extended Warranty that is transferrable to our buyer which fully covers all equipment in the van and the conversion. We only logged 4,000 miles this year, so an additional 2 years and 32,000 miles remain to handle any potential unforeseen problems - as good as it gets! I was the driver and my husband was the wheelchair passenger, so I can assure you that the mobiity features are easy to operate and the van is a pleasure to drive. The automated ramp, kneeling & entry door features are conveniently accessed in several ways: via remote control keyfobs, dash-mounted driver‘s side switches, switch mounted by the entry door from the interior passenger area, or exterior magnetic switches that are located in the passenger side taillight. We had occasion to use the warranty recently and had the van equipped with a brand new, $1,200 electric door motor. The VMI Northstar package is considered state of the art. For a 7 year old van, it is in grerat shape with low miles. The exterior paint is Golden White Pearl tri-coat, and the interior is gray & blue fabric with gray carpet.
