The Silver Star Lift is 1 year old and still under transferable warranty.Your Power chair or scooter can be charged while driving so it is ready when you reach your destination. The advantage of having a rear entry/exit is when the parking space is occupied next to where you want to park, you CAN NOT load or unload. Should you want to switch back to a regular van, simply remove the mounting bolds on the seat brackets that hold the lift in place and remover the lift and replace the other seats that come with the van.
